Is the Chef program offered in English?

No, the classes are in German.

Is the Chef program free?

Yes, tuition and books are free in Germany.

Will I get paid while studying?

Yes, you will receive a monthly allowance while you study. The average gross allowance is around €1,028.00 but total amount will depend on which employer will you be accepted in.

Can I work part-time while studying?

This depends on your training institution and German labor laws.

How many hours will I be in school?

Classes will be from 8am to 3PM.

What are the education requirements?

To qualify for the program, you must have completed a K-12 high school education.

What language qualifications are needed?

You need to complete a B2 German language course certified by an ALTE institute (e.g., Goethe Institute, TestDaF). You must complete this course in your home country before applying.

Are there interviews involved?

Yes, there are three interviews: one with the German Agency for Language assessesment, then with the nursing school and last with the training institution.

Is there an age limit?

Age limit is 35

The new €1,500 fee covers the comprehensive coordination and documentation required for your complete journey, including:
 
  • Language Assessment and related documentation.
  • Zeugnisanerkennung (School leaving certificate recognition).
  • Wohnung Assistance (Dedicated support for finding and securing housing).
  • School and Employer Coordination and all necessary documentation requirements.
  • Landgericht Authentication (Required legal document verification).
  • Consulate Authentication of Documents.
Optional: Arrangement and coordination of insurance can also be included in our service package.

What level of German is required?

You need a B2 level of German according to the CEFR.

How long does the German language course take?

The A1-B2 German language course typically takes at least 8 months.

What documents need to be translated?

You will need to have your diplomas, transcripts, certificates, and birth certificates translated into German by a certified translator.

Is there a fee for school recognition?

There may be a fee to have your school recognized in Germany.

Who helps with the visa processing?

You will be given a list of the Partner Agents/Agencies but it will depend on you whether you want to do it on your own or work with another visa processing agent/agency.
